Visitor Times
Weekday mornings and afternoons: Play between 8am and 9am is limited to 2 ball play except Wednesdays and Fridays when 4 ball play is permitted between 8.00am and 9.00am as part of the Prestwick Experience. No play before 10.15am on Thursdays. Fourball play is permitted at other times.
Weekends: Limited times are available on Sunday mornings and afternoons.
Handicap
Limits are 24 for men and 28 for ladies.
Dress Code
All visitors are expected to arrive in suitable golfing attire. We ask that all visitors using the Dining Room and Members’ Bar wear jacket, collar and tie (gentlemen) or a change from golfing attire (ladies). Golf shoes are not permitted in the Dining Room and Members' Bar but soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes are permitted in the rest of the Clubhouse.Smart casual wear is acceptable in the Cardinal Bar and Lounge. Jeans, trainers, shorts (unless tailored) and round neck T-shirts are not acceptable on the course or in the Clubhouse.
Caddies & Equipment Hire
Caddies
£50 plus gratuity. We strongly recommend that each group takes at least one caddie.
Trolleys
Pull trolleys are available for hire from the Pro Shop at a cost of £7. There are also a number of electric trolleys for hire at a cost of £20.
Carts
The terrain of the course does not lend itself easily to large electric carts. There are two double seat electric carts available for hire from the Pro Shop for visitors with a medical condition at a cost of £30. For health and safety reasons, visitors taking the cart are required to take a caddie to drive them round the course – cost as above. Golfers requiring a cart must produce a medical certificate.
Hire Clubs
Right handed and Left handed sets of TaylorMade clubs available for hire at a cost of £55 per set (including 3 premium TaylorMade balls) from the Professionals Shop.
Catering
Catering Summer
Full lunch is available in the Dining Room on Wednesdays and Fridays between 12.30 and 2.30pm (booking in advance is required). Smart dress equivalent Jacket collar and tie. A snack lunch is available in the Cardinal Room from Sunday to Friday between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Golf attire may be worn in the Cardinal Room. The cost of lunch is not included in the Green Fee (other than for the Prestwick Experience).
Catering Winter
The Dining Room is closed and the Cardinal Room is open on Tuesday to Friday and Sunday between 10.00am and 2.30pm. The cost of lunch is not included in the Green Fee. There are no bar or catering facilities available on Mondays during the winter months.
Accommodation
There are no residential facilities at the Club. However, the area is well served with hotels and B&Bs. Please click here for a list of local hotels.
