The Prestwick Experience
Prestwick is famous for lunch at the long table in the Dining Room. Under the watchful eye of Head Chef, David Bennett, who recently completed 40 years’ service at the Club Members and visitors alike enjoy the Cordon Bleu standard fare that is served. Where possible all ingredients are locally sourced.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a Dining Room lunch through the Prestwick Experience; a specially priced ticket that includes a round of golf and a three-course lunch (excluding drinks) in the Dining Room. Numbers are strictly limited to 24 each day with 4-ball times on Wednesdays (8:00 to 8:30am) and Fridays (8:00 to 9:00am) reserved exclusively for golfers wishing to participate in the Prestwick Experience. The Prestwick Experience can be booked online or by contacting our Reservations Department on +44(1292)477404 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask that those using the Dining Room respect the Club’s dress code by wearing a jacket, collar and tie or in the case of ladies, a change from golf attire.
The Cardinal Room
Upstairs in the Clubhouse, the Cardinal Restaurant and Lounge offer a more informal and relaxed atmosphere. Golf attire is perfectly acceptable in these areas and the menu offers more traditional golfing fare.
Golfers can enjoy a quiet drink or lunch looking out over the course.
Breakfast rolls are available in the Clubhouse from 8am until 11.30am. Lunch in the Cardinal Room is from 11.30am until 4pm. Between 4pm and 5pm our Bridge menu is available offering a lighter choice of options.
In addition to the standard Cardinal Room menu, our team always provide a couple of Chef’s Specials and Pasta of the Day. These vary depending what produce is in season and locally produced.
The Cardinal Room bar offers draught beers and lagers, a broad selection of whiskies, spirits and soft drinks.
The Cardinal Room is open from 9.30am to 5pm on Sundays to Fridays.
